Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is a waterfront community in Dubai; spread across 2 squares KM of the area. There are around 5 hotels and 40 residential towers in this area. The capacity of the area is around 15,000 people in 6,917 apartments. Shams, Amwaj, Rimal, Bahar, Sadaf and Murjan are 6 residential blocks. This project was completed in 2010 and estimated cost of 6 billion. The beach around the area is a retail complex constructed by company Meraas Holding, owned by the Prime Minister of Dubai. Bluewaters Island is under construction and is also located opposite the JBR. There will be many restaurants, villas; hotels and Dubai eye 210 m Ferris wheel making it the world’s biggest which currently the London eye is. There is a famous Al Fresco dining restaurant known as “The Walk at JBR”.

Jumeirah Lakes Towers of Dubai Metro is the nearest metro station to JBR. One can reach JBR from metro station by foot via Al Gharbi St in 14 minutes. A taxi can drop you at JBR in 12 minutes approaching the apartments via Al Sufouh Rd covering 5.7 km.
Jumeirah Lakes Towers Metro Station is located on Mred line and it lies between the Dubai Marina and Nakheel Harbour and Tower Stations.
