How to reach Faridabad using Violet Line of Delhi Metro
The nearest Delhi Metro station to Faridabad is the Old Faridabad Metro Station. It is located on the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro and is approximately 300 meters from the Faridabad Railway Station, making it a convenient 5-minute walk (Wikipedia) (MetroXP). Other nearby stations include Badkhal Mor and Neelam Chowk Ajronda, which are slightly farther away but can be reached by a short taxi ride (MetroXP).
Earlier, the nearest metro station to Faridabad was Badarpur Metro Station, which is on the Violet Line of Delhi Metro. With the extension of Line 6, the nearest Metro station to Faridabad is now Escorts Mujesar. The Delhi Metro extension from Badarpur to Faridabad is an elevated corridor with nine stations. The nine stations are Sarai, NHPC Chowk, Mewala Maharajpur, Sector 28, Badkal Mor, Old Faridabad, Neelam Chowk Ajronda, Bata Chowk and Escorts Mujesar.
If you want to reach Badarpur Metro Station from New Delhi Railway Station, you will have to cover a total distance of about 22 km. It will take you about 30 minutes to cover this distance. Once you get off at New Delhi Railway Station, you need to reach Rajeev Chowk (Cannaught Place) Metro Station either by car or by bus. From Cannaught Place, you can take the Violet line of the Delhi Metro and reach Badarpur station, which will eventually connect you to Faridabad.
