The National Zoological Park (or Chidiya Ghar) was established in 1959 and spreads across 176 acres of land housing hundreds of different species of birds, animals, mammals and reptiles. It remains open between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm everyday.
It is located on the Mathura Road, near the Old Fort of Delhi.
