London Tube Station Near Brentford

Brentford is in West London. It is part of the London Borough of Houslow. Since 1965 it has been part of Greater London. The head office buildings here in Brentford mark the start of the M4 corridor. The town centre has many restaurants and shopping centres. Since 1900 the Bretford Festival has been held here every September as a local town fair.

Bretford Dock was formally opened in 1859 and is a marina and housing estate. The confluence of the rivers Thames and Brent takes place in Brentford. Syon House is present in Bretford which is the Duke of Northumberland. The marshy land here is now a nature reserve open to the public. There is hotel, visitor centre and garden centres present in the estate.

Some of the other places and buildings present in Bretford are; Bretford Monument built in 1909, St Paul’s Church built in 1868, Saint Faith’s Church, Brentford Public Library opened in 1904 and St Lawrence’s Church from the 15th century. Brentford is also home to Chelsea Football Club and Brentford Football Club. Brentford F.C. is a football club based in the London Borough of Hounslow in Brentford.

Boston Manor London Underground station serves between Brentford and Hanwell and is on the Piccadilly line between Osterley and Northfield stations. The station is in Travelcard Zone 4 and is located on Boston Manor Road. Other tube stations close to Bretford are Northfield and South Ealing.
