Copenhagen S-train Information
The city of Copenhagen is served by two rail networks, the metro and the S-train. The S-train is an urban rail network that started operation in 1934. Today it consists of 7 lines serving 85 stations over a 170 km network. The line connects the city centre with the suburbs, making it a popular means of public transport in Copenhagen. Together with the metro, it serves almost half a million people every day. It is owned and operated by DSB s-tog, which ensures that it is one of the cleanest and best-maintained forms of public transport.
