Out of the 7 European Lines, only 4 are under operation as of now, with 3 more under construction. The Asian Line comprises of 3 lines, 1 line under operation and 2 under construction. This 90 km long network, serves 75 stations presently with 70 more stations under construction. An important means of public transportation since the year 1989, the metro system has an annual ridership of nearly 3.5 million (2015).
