Metro-North Train evacuated at Fairfield

A Metro-North Train was evacuated after smoke was detected between its cars at the  Fairfield Metro Station.  The incident was reported at about  7:15 a.m on this tuesday morning. Within an hour, the commuters were transferred to another train and the train was removed, no injuries have been reported. 

All services are back to normal and trains are running on schedule.
